TBD is a place for people in Seattle who want to do stuff — and want someone to do it with. Not a dating app. Not a social network. Just a simple way to say "I'm up for this, who's in?"
Post an intention. Someone joins. You go do the thing. The app gets out of the way.
You post what you want to do — eat ice cream, throw a frisbee, grab a beer, go for a walk. You can specify a place, leave it flexible, or let the group figure it out. Other people see your intention and tap "I'm in." Once you have enough people, you work out the details in the comments and go.

No. Hard no. TBD is for platonic hangouts only. If you're looking for romance, this isn't the place. We enforce this and will remove people who treat it like a dating platform.
We've built safety into the product from the ground up. Every meetup must happen in a public space — we don't allow private addresses. There's a minimum of 4 people per intention, so you're always meeting a group, not a stranger one-on-one. You can filter intentions by audience (women only, LGBTQ+, etc.) for added comfort.
Anyone who visits TBD Seattle can see your intention. We're a public community board, not a private network. Don't post anything you wouldn't want a stranger to read.
Purely to notify you when someone joins your intention. We won't spam you, sell your address, or use it for anything else. It's optional — you can post without it.
Email us at hello@brunchclubmedia.com and we'll deal with it. We take this seriously. In the future we'll have in-app reporting — for now email is the fastest path.
It's a safety feature and a product philosophy. The Thaw happens in the open — in the city, in the spaces Seattle is built around. It also means we can't be used to lure people somewhere private. Everyone meets in the light.
An intention needs at least 4 people interested before it's considered active. This keeps things from being a one-on-one situation with a stranger, and means every meetup has enough people to feel like a real group.
Not yet — we're working on it. If you need something removed urgently, email us at hello@brunchclubmedia.com and we'll handle it manually.
For now, yes. We're starting here, proving it works, and expanding from there. Tacoma and Portland are next. If you want TBD in your city, email us.

TBD is a platform that helps people find others to hang out with in real life. It is explicitly not a dating app, not a matchmaking service, and not a social network. It is a tool for organizing casual, platonic meetups in public spaces.
You must be at least 18 years old to use TBD. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older.
All meetups organized through TBD must take place in public spaces — bars, cafes, parks, restaurants, venues, and similar locations. Private residences and unlisted locations are not permitted. TBD is not responsible for enforcing this rule but reserves the right to remove users who violate it.
You may not use TBD for romantic or sexual solicitation. You may not harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users. You may not post false, misleading, or deceptive content. You may not use TBD for any illegal purpose. Violation of these rules may result in immediate removal from the platform.
You own the content you post on TBD. By posting you grant TBD a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform. You can request removal of your content at any time by emailing hello@brunchclubmedia.com.
TBD is a platform, not a chaperone. We connect people but we are not present at meetups and cannot guarantee your safety. You agree to meet other users at your own risk. TBD is not liable for any harm, injury, loss, or damage that occurs as a result of meetups organized through the platform. Always meet in public, tell someone where you're going, and trust your instincts.
We collect your email address for authentication and notifications. We collect the profile information you provide (name, age, gender, fun fact). We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required by law. Your email is not displayed publicly.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of TBD after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
